Ronnie,

What a hunt!!! Wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our time in Kansas. As usual, the food was over-the-top delicious and the hospitality superb. Brad and the dogs were in top form and the birds were cooperative and plentiful. (I've never seen that many birds before.) Accommodations at the lodge were very clean and comfortable and the blanket of snow gave the place an extra touch of beauty.
It was good to see you all again and renew our friendships. Please pass along my thanks to Debbie and her helper for their hard work in the kitchen. Also give Brad a big ol' kiss for me. He did a super job putting us on the birds and making sure we had a safe hunt. Again, many thanks for all your efforts and I hope you and your family have a blessed year.

We had a great time as always, the hunting and the hospitality are always great. Ya’ll do an excellent job and it is my pleasure to tell everyone about Ruffhouse. Would you please send me Brad’s cell phone number (I forgot to get it), I would like to call and thank him personally for taking those 2 boys under his wing making sure they had a positive experience, you already had Cole but now you have Ben for life as well.

How much ice did you all end up getting and did your daughter in law get to shoot that big whitetail saturday evening ? I just wanted to drop you a note and tell you thanks again for a great time. We had a somewhat interesting trip home thru the ice but made it without too much problem. We are already looking forward to our trip next year - I think Brad was going to pencil us in for the same date (or thereabouts). It will probably be the same group with the exception of a guy here or there. Take care and hope your family has a great Christmas - we will be in touch soon.

Ronnie and family, Just wanted to take a minute and wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and the happiest of New Years. Your friendship and hospitality to my Dad and I has been a blessing. It's nice to know stand-up people still exist in this country, people that know where our blessings come from and are not afraid to give God the glory. You and your family have been a blessing to us and have been an honor to get to know. Anyways, before this gets to soupy I just want to wish you and yours the happiest of holiday seasons. Ronnie - I wanted to write back and re-emphasize what a great time we had. I think we talked more on the long trip back home about the food than we did about the hunting. As soon as I got back home, I had friends calling and asking if there was room for them on next year's trip. Make sure you tell Brad how much we enjoyed hunting with him - what a great guy. He blended into our group like he had been hunting right along side us for years. I will relay the news about the openings after Christmas - I think one person from our group may be interested in returning with his father and perhaps a few others. Have a Merry Christmas - I am sure we will talk to you soon.

"Ronnie, Again your family have outdone themselves. We appreciate all of the work you put into meeting our needs. Devin ejoyed the trip and looks forward to making the hunt again next year. As for the rest of us we want to say thank-you again. Tell Brad he again did a great job. If we would have killed all of the birds Brad flushed out that morning, we would have had our limits by lunch. We plan on target practicing more for the hunt next year. As for the lodging, it was great. We all were very comfortable at the lodge and appreciate the time Brad's wife spent preparing the lodge for us. And the meals, let's just say we all are still stuffed from this weekend. I bet we talk about those steaks until we see you again next year. I still can't believe those T-bones covered the entire plate. Tell Debbie and your daughter-in-law the rest of the meals and desserts were wonderful. They both have a great gift. "On Thurs, I boarded a flight in Lubbock, TX, returning home from a food show. I happened to be wearing my Sterling Silver hat and a gentleman seated behind me said "Ah, Sterling Silver, that's the best Beef I ever had." I agreed with him and asked where he had the great opportunity to try my product. He said he had it at several restaurants in Texas but the most memorable was on a hunting trip to Kansas. I responded "that had to be Ruff Outfitters." He looked somewhat shocked that I would know so quickly. I told him that I them using Sterling Silver and in fact have had two great hunts out there with customers. I also asked him what he thought of the Ruff families hospitality. The fellowship was great - I know more about the cattle business than I ever knew existed - it was interesting. Thanks for having the mechanic come in on the last night to help Bill with ideas on a "emergency feeding trailer." I can not tell you how impressed I was with the dogs - it was worth the trip just to see them work. I look forward to a return hunt - maybe another early in the year and certainly next fall.
